THIS NOTE WAS SENT TO US FOLLOWING ONE OF OUR LAST PRESENTATIONS. IT IS STORIES SUCH AS THESE THAT KEEP US GOING!

Sent: Wed Jul 20th, 2011 9:06 PM PDT
Subject: Please give to Mr. Patrick Crough

Thank you
I was a victim for 5 years until the age of 17 when I managed to show my
pain and reveal just how sick it was. I suffered through confusion and guilt
for 30+. Four years ago I came to terms with what happened and I forgave my
parents and myself through God’s power of peace. I was ordained one year
later.

So… for the past few years I had resided the fact that *all* was behind me
yet it really wasn’t. It still lurked into my life like an invisible
heaviness. In one hour I was free. In one hour you managed to explain to me
how it happened, why it happened and it really was not my fault at all: now…
finally I have completeness within my peace. People have told me many times
it's not your fault but no one ever explained to me how it happened so I
never could see for sure that it wasn't my fault - it was a slow fade into
darkness

We began our ministry 3 years ago without much direction other than a Godly
inspired voice calling to us to follow. Your Irish sheep herder wisdom rang
loud in my ears. My shepherd broke me and I healed while on His shoulders
and now I walk with Him, alongside Him, with such thankfulness and joy. My
suffering brought me to seek what I needed to repair myself. The first step
was my wonderful husband and the next step was finding my Savior and the
third was finding His disciple – you.

A few weeks ago a woman brought a young lady to our ministry in hopes we
could help her. This young girl was seriously in need. She is very ill, a
drug user and hopelessly content in “just existing” off the NYS system. We
saw immediately that this was too much for us to handle alone so I began to
contact any and all organization in Chautauqua County with very little help.
Time passed and I grew fretful so I email a plea and through a very odd
chain of happenings it landed on Paula Pichon’s desk at Social Services.

She met with us, we connected hearts and goals, and she injected us into her
chain of social ministries which you are a part of. She asked what we wanted
to have emailed to us as far as alerts and seminars and I said “any and
all”. I will be honest and tell you that this was a little two sided on my
part because I wanted the seminaries and the networking. It is very
difficult to get a ministry moving in such a tiny, yet vast community. The
first emailed invite was to your Child Predator seminar at SUNY Fredonia. I
no longer work with children and I already had *some* exposure to this topic
in my classwork but I signed up. I promised the Lord 4 years ago that if He
opened the door I'd walk in.

Our ministry has brought us or should I say 'shown us' His Glory too many
times in too many glorious ways to count. We truly have been blessed. I can
say with all honesty that I know for a fact that I was brought to you to
finish the healing before we actually open our doors.

So… I pray deeply that you will understand that you – in one hour – healed a
woman who was unknowingly still struggling with the question of how and why
“I” allowed this to happen to me. Now I can see exactly how it happened and
I can "understand" it had nothing to do with me. What was supposed to
prevent a child from being damaged (or worst) actually healed a child of 54
years. A young woman came to our door in need and her need healed me. Please
pray for her I think she understands this pain as well. Perhaps God willing
I can take what you taught me and give it to her so she can heal. Oh
wouldn't that be another testimony to God's Glory.

Never, *NEVER*, ever think that your light is small. Even if you just
impacted my life, and I know full well you have helped hundreds maybe
thousands more than me, but if you did only touch my life: your light was so
bright that my deepest darkness finally was removed. Amen You have revealed
God’s Glory. Christ’s ministry lives in you. You have the power of healing.

If ever you or yours have a need or a place to rest I will forever, we will
forever, be there. Luke 11:9
We run a weekly Penny Saver ad in the Silver Creek area and I would be
honored to give you our space when and if you would like it. It is a two
column by 2 column ad (nice size). The ad has to be into Dolores hands by
Thursday to get in out in that weekend Penny Saver. If you would rather have
it in another Penny Saver just let us know and we will redirect our campaing
for that week to whatever Penny Saver you would like: Gowanda, Dunkirk, and
I think Jamestown too but I'm not sure, we'd have to check that and see if
there are more.
May God's Grace fill you and your to overflowing
BEA
PS
Another awesome thing that I found was that my parenting skills were fined
tuned perfectly to your "what should parents do" part of your presentation.
That too was wonderful to see that through my pain I instinctually knew how
to protect my children from the very thing I couldn't understand. This just
proves you don't have to see it to fight it... or on the upside believe in
it.

My husband and I just attened the "Child Predator" seminar that Investigator Crough gave at SUNY Fredonia. This is a must do for everyone regardless of who you are. If you are a parent or a day care worker standing in as a child's protector you must attend to learn the depths of this horrible act against our children - God's children. And if you were a victim this will anwer all your unknown heart heavy questions that you didn't even know you had. This will explain to you how it happened and by knowing this truth you will be set free of any misdirected guilt you may still have. Truly... everyone needs to hear this man speak his heart and his years of insite on what to watch for to protect the children. The book is a wonderful conclusion to the seminar but if you are not going to attend, then at least get the book. All his information and more are in it's pages but this man has a passion and understanding that should be felt. Amen
